Wayne Bumm towed his 1976 O'Day 20, "Bums Rest", from southern New Jersey to the Florida Keys. This picture shows it tied up at Bahia Honda State Park in the lower keys.

Nicholas Pouder sails his 1965 O'Day Tempest "Bouillabaisee" in Greenwich, Connecticut.

John Rennockl spent about a year remodeling his 1977 O'Day 32 "Shirocco" in order to take it from Virginia to Florida and the Bahamas.

"I remodeled the open areas behind the settees in the main cabin, installed extra bulkheads, a cross beam to support a baby stay, doubled up the main bulkheads etc. I love the boat and its space. It is not only perfect for the Bahamas but also for the Chesapeake Bay where I currently live. I had an O'Day 23 before and beefed it up significantly. The day after I had sold it it got struck by lightening (direct hit) but except for the electronics nothing was damaged. On my "new" 32 I found some loose bulkheads and some minor stress cracks. Other than that she is in great shape. This year she will get awlgripped after the hull/deck joint is glassed over. (It never ends)."

Steve and Joy Colston sail their 1991 Pearson/O'Day 32, "Abundant Joy", in the Rockledge/Melbourne area on Florida's east coast. The boat has its own web site at http://home.att.net/~vanda123/ abundantjoy.html where you can find more pictures and information.

John Sim's 1986 O'Day 192 is shown sailing in the Intracoastal Waterway near Pensacola Pass. John has owned the boat for about nine months, but still hasn't decided on a name.

Ben Allen's 1985 O'Day 26, "Wahoo", is shown in a tranquil setting on Lake Jordan in southern Alabama.

Marcus Ward shows off a fine example of the rare O'Day Flying Saucer, vintage 1969. Ever wish your boat had a shallower draft so you could get into those intriguing shallows? How about TWO INCHES with the board up?

Bill Yale rescued and restored his 1974 O'Day 20, "Mishabelle", that had been stored in the previous owner's garage for over ten years. The boat is named after Bill's two dogs, and now sails on Lake Tahoe, California.

O'Day in paradise, anyone? Glory B, a 1987 O'Day 40 owned by the Santomenna family, is shown at anchor in the U.S. Virgin Islands, or as the USVI license plates say, "American Paradise". Not only is the boat beautiful, it's FOR SALE -- see the classified ad section of the site.

Jerry Abbatello's 1973 O'Day 22, "Summerwind", was named after a song by Frank Sinatra. She is shoal draft, yellow hull, and sailed out of Clinton, CT, regularly in the summer on Long Island Sound.

Brian McWilliams' 1975 O'Day Javelin, pictured ashore at Androscoggin Lake in Maine. The boat is based in Durham, NH, where it gets lots of use on every decent-sized body of water between Great Bay and Squam Lake.
