    Christophe and Alison Cable primarily sail their 1986 O'Day 222 "Schipperke" on Lake Pepin, Wisconsin. The third crewmember is their seadog Homer, a beagle. Homer wears a lifejacket for easier retrieval if he decides to go for an unexpected swim, and is quite the celebrity at Dan's Pepin Marina as well as on the water. The boat's name translates as "little captain" or "boatman" and is named after a breed of dog.

    Steve LaBroad sails his 1977 O'Day 27, "Sail A Vie", hull number 728, in Anchor Bay, Michigan.

    Jim Melby took this picture of his 1977 O'Day 25 "JV 2" on Outer Island in Lake Superior. The island is one of the Apostle Islands and is the farthest island from the mainland. This picture is taken facing north from the lighthouse on the island that is open for tours.

    Jim Kalupa sails his O'Day 22 "Makai" on the lakes surrounding Madison, Wisconsin. Built in 1974, it has the shoal draft keel. This picture was taken on Lake Mendota.

    Jim Brandenburg is a new O'Day sailor, having owned his 1987 O'Day 192 "Shootin' The Breeze" only a few months but he loves it dearly. Says Jim "I have to admit when I bought her, I didn't realize that there was a brotherhood of O'Day owners. I just thought I got a great boat! Actually I got a great bunch of folks with at least one thing in common, their O'Days!. The picture was taken on Eagle Creek Reservoir near Indianapolis, Indiana. I sailed past two fellow sailors who had anchored to jump in and cool off. The man willingly agreed to take the picture while floating in his lifejacket. After years of "what to do" weekends, I now have a regularly scheduled weekend of sailing on her!"

    Peter Grave's 1976 O'Day 25 "Ensivious" is shown on the Ottawa River, 200 Km northwest of Ottawa, Ontario in a little town called Deep River.

    Skipper Michael Monk served as ship's photographer while Admiral Kristie prepared a snack on their 1985 Oday 222 'No Regrets', at anchor in Nicolet Bay, Door County, Wisconsin during a six day cruise.

    Don Sundell has owned his 1978 O'Day 25 "Recluse" since 1981 and races it on Lake Minnetonka, Wayzata Bay, Minnesota in the Wayzata Yacht Club PHRF3 fleet. Don is at the helm in the white hat. He's been sailing on Lake Minnetonka for 40 years, starting as a teenager.

    Chas. Hague sails his O'Day Widgeon "The Widget" on Lake Opeka in Des Plaines, Illinois. Says Chas.: "The Widgeon is a great trailerable -- I tell people that if it was any more portable, I'd be able to carry it around in my back pocket!"

    "Widget": n, a small device. A gadget.

    Doug Kilgore's 1968 O'Day Mariner "The Windward Rail" in her home port of Holly Park Cove, Bayville, New Jersey. The early, pre-1969 Mariners do not have self draining cockpits; the cockpit floors are mahogany planks fastened to ribs glassed into the hull. Doug occasionally refers to them as "my'agony" planks, when they need refinishing.
